CrossFit sessions are designed to be scaled and adapted to suit all ages and abilities. However we understand that not everyone feels comfortable to jump into a class with younger peers or they are apprehensive they aren’t fit enough. Masters sessions are the answer to this. Come along and be coached through full range of motion functional movements designed to make you more capable now and in your later years so you can live an independent and enjoyable life.
There is no minimum standard to join the class making it perfect for those looking to get moving after prolonged inactivity, or coming back from surgery/injury or just wanting to increase their quality of life. The effect of strength training in older populations is well documented, with increased strength there are improvements to balance, mobility and stability.
So if you fit the description above or are over 55 and you want to play with your grandchildren, better handle obstacles like stairs, increase your independence, want to meet new people or simply learn a new hobby then this class is for you.
