All of our trainers are CrossFit certified, which means they’ve been trained in anatomy, physiology, and nutrition. They understand that no two people are alike and will work with you to get fit safely and effectively.

Ruari Lambert

CrossFit Level 3 Trainer, Precision Nutrition, CrossFit Gymnastics + CrossFit Kids Trainer

Ruari found CrossFit whilst at University and has since worked to develop his knowledge and coaching across the breadth of fitness, health and sports performance. Ruari is an enthusiastic mountain biker, skier and snowboarder and enjoys regularly learning and playing new sports.

 

Luke Welch

CrossFit Level 2 Trainer

Luke joined CrossFit Cairngorm at the beginning of 2020 after moving to Aviemore from New Zealand. Coming from an outdoor and adventure sport background, Luke was looking to improve his all round fitness to better his ability and reduce injuries while out climbing, skiing and mountaineering. During the pandemic and throughout both of Scotland's lockdowns, training and learning to move well became a key focus and now less than two years later, Luke has taken part in multiple competitions with the CFCG crew and sat his CrossFit Level 1 Trainer Certificate enabling him to share his enthusiasm for the sport and pass on what he's learnt to other members.

Ellie Dubois

CrossFit Level 2 Trainer, CrossFit Gymnastics + CrossFit Kids Trainer

Ellie has been training CrossFit for 10 years and has continued to use the methodology to train for the changing demands of her career and life. Ellie trained as a professional circus performer at the National Centre for Circus Arts.

Ellie Garrett

British Weightlifting Level 2 Coach and Technical Official

Ellie is an anatomy geek, food advocate, outdoor adventurer and half-decent Scrabble partner. A Master’s athlete with 20 years experience working in Athletic Rehabilitation, she has a keen interest in training strength and efficient movement patterns for tasks in and out of the gym.

Izzy Dubois

CrossFit Level 2 Trainer, Precision Nutrition, CrossFit Gymnastics, CrossFit Kids Trainer + Yoga Teacher

Izzy is a 200h Yoga Alliance accredited teacher. Her years of experience inspire her teachings, drawing from the power of the Ashtanga, the smooth flow of Vinyasa and the softer side of Yin. She is passionate about sharing yoga as an opportunity to connect and listen to the body, look inwards and quieten mind. Coming from an artistic background, her classes are always dynamic, creative and playful, with a foundation in yogic philosophy. Izzy teaches with an ethos that classes should be fun, empowering and inclusive of everybody, whatever level you are at.
