60 Minute Yin Yang Yoga

Thursday 19:15

What is Yin Yang Yoga?

Yang is the heat, it’s the gentle flow we begin the class with to build heat through the body. Much like your typical vinyasa class.

Yin is soft, drawn from Taoist yoga, we hold long meditative postures to a comfortable edge to stimulate the connective tissue, helping to lengthen, strengthen and increase the mobility of these tissues.

It is a practice which helps you to slow down, observe and build a deeper awareness of your body and thoughts. Combined Yang and Yin create a powerful, mindful practice that helps you to slow down and recharge.

Open to all levels, no previous yoga experience is necessary.

About Izzy

Izzy is a 200h Yoga Alliance accredited teacher. She trained with Imir Frazer in 2020, after developing a strong yoga practice over many years. Her years of experience inspire her teachings, drawing from the power of the Ashtanga, the smooth flow of Vinyasa and the softer side of Yin. She first came to yoga as an asana practice but quickly discovered the calming and grounding power of yoga and became hooked. She is passionate about sharing yoga as an opportunity to connect and listen to the body, look inwards and quieten mind. Coming from an artistic background, her classes are always dynamic, creative and playful, but have a foundation in yogic philosophy. Izzy teaches with an ethos that classes should be fun, empowering and inclusive of everybody, whatever level you are at.
